Art film has had its ups and downs. However, it has never entirely vanished, and it never will. Frame by Frame Critic pays attention to true film artists from the past and today’s new movie directors. Rarely, but I also write about TV shows.

You can read about many film directors from all across the globe – some of whom you have never heard of but deserve attention. It’s a chance to discover directors and learn new facts about directors you already know. I also touch on underrated actors and actresses.
Film Types and Genres
Frame by Frame Critic doesn’t discriminate any type of filmmaking or movie genre. Aside from full-length films, you can also discover short movies, documentaries, etc. There are mainly good and not-so-good movies. Form, type, and genre come second.
My Cinematic Mission
My cinematic mission is to challenge stereotypes and our status quo film industry. The goal is to trigger movie innovation and inspire young film artists to experiment. Let’s push cinematic boundaries together and embrace new-wave film movements!
