When it comes to famous Serbian actors in Hollywood, we have to mention Rade Serbedzija. Yes, he’s born and lived in Croatia, but his parents are Serbian. He considers himself a Yugoslavian actor anyway, so he’s undoubtedly one of the best Croatian and Serbian actors ever.
An internationally recognized actor, he has enjoyed a remarkable career both in the Balkans and Hollywood. He’s known for roles in Before the Rain, Snatch, Eyes Wide Shut, etc. His commanding presence and rich voice have made him a go-to for both sensitive patriarchal roles and sinister villains.
Slobodan Cica Perovic
Perovic was one of the key actors in the Yugoslav Black Wave and was known for his introspective and intense performances. Slobodan Perović was not just an actor, but also a true artist who explored the unconventional.
His roles in Three, Wintering in Jakobsfeld, and Ward Six are only a few of his many great performances. Perović’s subtle approach to acting helped elevate the complexity of cinema in the 1960s and 70s.
Ljuba Tadić
A legendary stage and film actor, some people also addressed Ljuba Tadic as a philosopher because of his intellectual capacity. He was known for his deep, resonant voice and larger-than-life presence.

Velimir Bata Živojinović
One of the most famous Serbian actors ever, Bata Zivojinovic, was a true superstar in Yugoslavia. He is one of the rare A-list actors who were leading figures in both the Yugoslav Black Wave and the Red Wave.

Danilo Bata Stojkovic

Svetozar Cvetkovic
Svetozar Cvetković has built a distinguished career through his subtle, nuanced performances.
